I liked that this made typing fun for my daughter. She was not getting very good marks in school for her typing, (she is 10) so I got this game for her and it really helped. She hasn't played it for a few months, I don't know if she got bored of it or if it is to "little kiddie" for her.
My 7yo is not interested in typing yet, but this program is working out well for my 11yo.

Kids play this more like a game than a learning tool. They like the graphics and lessons. And I like that it keeps their attention which is helping them learn to type better. Loaded and plays fine on my XP computer.
I'm pleased with the software. My older one is simply trying to beat his previous score.
The theme of going on an adventure is very suitable for my children. They are enjoying the games while learning how to type.
I looked at a lot of different typing software before deciding on this one. My 6 year old is diligently going through it and enjoys the games.
Sometimes they even ask to play it. My sons are 6 years and 8 years.
In one summer he has gotten up to 12 words per minute with over 95% accuracy. It's very affordable too.
